INFORMATION ABOUT TOUCHING 

 

If you are confused about what kind of touching is bad and good. Ask a trusted adult friend or family member so you will understand. Good touching will usually make you feel calm and happy. Bad touching will usually make you feel unhappy and you will feel as if something is wrong.

If a relative or another person is touching you and making you feel bad. This is against the law and can hurt your body, spirit, and mind. 

You should contact the nearest law enforcement officer right away, so it won't happen to you again. Report it at once 

Any Stranger who wants to be your "Special Friend" that cares about you may be trying to do bad things to you.  

A "No Touch Zone" is an area of the body that is usually covered by your bathing suit. 

Your body is special and belongs to you. No One has the right to touch your "No Touch Zones" unless it is a doctor giving an exam with your dad and mom there.

Listen to your feelings and trust your instincts. Report to a parent or trusted adult anyone who tries to give you extra hugs, touches, tickles that last too long. Wrestles with you, plays hide the object, or wants to take your picture. 

Report anyone who threatens you, says that no one cares about you, or who makes you feel uncomfortable by asking you to keep "Special Secrets" about the things you do when you are with them.  Your parents and trusted adults will not be mad at you. They love you and want to protect you from possible dangerous people.
